You will have more time to talk and be together as a family without the regular things that occupy your time at home. You won't even have to leave your four legged friends at home, and you won't have to waste time unpacking.

When you travel in an RV, you have an opportunity to meet your neighbors at the campground or park. Some places even offer social opportunities and activities. If you are interested, you could make new friends that also enjoy the RVing lifestyle.
